FEATURED WORK :

I grew up in a household that loved art, music, and dance. I received an undergraduate degree at University of Texas in Interior Design with a minor in Art. I received my masters in Interior Design at Texas Women's University in Denton, Texas. I am married to an architect and I have a son and daughter.

I started painting seriously in 2005. Recently my painting of an elephant was accepted at the 2016 Fort Worth Community Art Center Art Show. I also have some paintings displayed at Park and Eighth Showroom in Fort Worth, Texas.

The majority of my paintings are just a single large image on canvas focusing on light and shadows in bold colors and in a contemporary way.

Painting brings me joy and frustration at the same time. So why do I paint? Because it's a constant challenge - sometimes I get it right and sometimes I don't.
